All dissemination and communication activities foreseen within UNAWIRED are inspired by the Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) approach according to which “societal actors are involved during the whole R&I process in order to align its outcomes with values, needs and expectations of society”.
RRI connects different aspects of the relationship between R&I and society: public engagement, open access, gender equality, science education, ethics and governance.
Dissemination and communication actions in UNAWIRED are directed toward three different audiences:
